John R. ‘Jack’ Leach, 80, of Frankfort, Ind., died January 3, 2021 at his home. He was born January 12, 1940 in Frankfort, Ind. to James B. & Bessie (Renick) Leach. He was previously married to Cathy Scircle McKinzie.
Jack attended Frankfort High School and went back 20 years later, without studying, and received his GED. He worked at Castle’s, Peter Paul, General Foods, Exide Battery Factory and Main St. Smoke Shop. He was a member of the Victory Chapel, Eagles Lodge and Moose Lodge. Jack enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and racing cars. He enjoyed riding around town, cruising the strip, and most recently the lagoons. He was very outgoing and friendly. Jack never met a stranger, he always had a pocket full of candy and shared with anyone close by, stranger or not.
Visitation and Services
Public visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, followed by private family services. Memorial donations may be made to Victory Chapel, 196 S. West St., Frankfort, IN 46041. Out of respect for the health, safety, and comfort of all in attendance, guests will be expected to adhere to current CDC guidelines regarding appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks.

2 Daughters: Barri (Mike) Andreoli of Zionsville, Lori Leach of Frankfort, 2 Sons: Brian (Teresa) Leach of Frankfort, Stacy Leach of Frankfort, Companion: Cathy McKinzie of Frankfort, 2 Brothers: Toby (Marilyn) Leach of Frankfort, Larry (Pat) Leach of Frankfort, 11 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Glenda Sue (Fred) Baker and brother, Ronnie Leach.
