John K. Guffy Jr. 87, of rural Kirklin, died at 6:45 a.m. August 19, 2017 at I.U. Health Frankfort Hospital. Born November 9, 1929 in Frankfort, Ind., to John O. Guffy Sr., and Lena L. (King) Guffy. He married Marian Delores Lee on June 5, 1949 and she survives. John was a 1947 graduate of Kirklin High School. He was a lifelong resident and farmer in Clinton County, IN, a member of the Michigantown United Methodist Church, Clinton County Antique Tractor Club, Clinton County Diners Club, Clinton County Amateur Radio Club where he was a Volunteer Examiner (AARL Testing) for the Ham Radio. John enjoyed playing the guitar, Chet Atkins music, and especially restoring his 1939 & 1947 Farmall H Tractors.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday August 22, 2017 and one hour prior to the service at 11 a.m. Wednesday August 23, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home (200 S. Main St.), Frankfort, IN. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Kirklin, IN. Memorial donations may be made to the Michigantown United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.

Wife: Marian D. Guffy of rural Kirklin, 2 Sons: Michael J. (Renee) Guffy of Flora, and David L. (Chris) Guffy of Michigantown, 2 Daughters: Janis L. Harshbarger of Kirklin, and Sharon S. (Anil) Kollipara of Northville, Michigan, 11 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
