Facebook Twitter GoogleThe loss of John is a sorrow I cannot express. He was always my favorite, and he knew it, and at times used that against me. I am comforted to know he is Home and re-united with all our family who awaited him, and is no doubt this very moment joyfully embracing life on the other side, as he joyfully embraced life with us on earth. I will not grieve for John, but shall cherish every single memory of his life, and rejoice to know he is in a far better place, with our Father. Cathy and Eric, may your hearts be filled with the memory of John’s love for you. I am sorry for your loss, and join you in your sorrow.

Facebook Twitter GoogleOh, I was so saddened to read this, this morning. Two great guys: Jim and John. Good natured, kind and helpful. Always so good to their mother, Bertie. We live in the house that John built and, although some changes have been made to it through the years, in my mind it will always be “Payton’s Corner”.
My warm thoughts of comfort are flowing to you.

Facebook Twitter GoogleKathy & Eric, We are so sadden on the loss of your loved one and my Cousin John. We will miss him so much. I do remember all of the good times we have had together. When John, and Uncle Bob & Uncle Chuck and Junior would come up to Manistee to go fishing we always had a great time. I still remember all of the cook out’s when you and John lived on that small lake next to Jim’s house. Boy, didn’t we have great times. And all of the family reunions that we could make it to. Yes, we will miss having John around but he is now in a better place with our God and his Mom & Dad and other family members & all of his friends that have passed away before him. Watching the video sure did bring back some wonderful memories and we will never forget John and family because you are all loved.

Facebook Twitter GoogleKathy & Eric I’m so so truly sorry for your excruciating loss. I loved John so much & remember all the good times we had having our family reunions at the house next to Jim’s so many wonderful memories the dirt bikes, fishing so much fun. Loved listening to Uncle Bob, Jim & John go back & forth with their endless jokes & laughter. Those were the days that’s for sure. I also remember John coming up to Michigan to visit us & he would head straight over to the White Castle right across from my dad’s Allstate office I used to sit in the window & watch him across the street eating his cheeseburgers that he so couldn’t wait to have because you didn’t have a White Castle down there I guess. Anyways so much to say not enough space but love all of you & please know that he will be truly missed. First thing I said to mom & dad was well at least he’s in a better place having a great time with Jim & Uncle Bob & everyone else. Love you so much, Wendy from Shelby Township, Michigan
