John A. Ross

John A. Ross, 76, of Frankfort, Ind. died February 10, 2021 in his home.  He was born on July 31, 1944 in Frankfort to Charlie R. and Phyllis A. (Price) Ross.

John is a 1962 graduate of Frankfort Senior High School and served in the United States Marine Corps.  He retired from Chrysler in Kokomo after 32 years of service.  He was a member of the American Legion Post #12 and the VFW Post #1110.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, and watching westerns.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Frankfort VFW, 309 North Main Street, Frankfort, IN  46041.

 

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be Noon – 2 p.m. Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort.  A private family funeral service will be held at the funeral home.  Out of respect for the health, safety, and comfort of all in attendance, guests will be expected to adhere to current CDC guidelines regarding appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks.

Surviving are his daughter: Amanda Rush of Frankfort; sons: Rodney Ross of Frankfort and Jeremy Ross of San Antonio, TX; sister: Jacquelyn Hoskins of Frankfort; brothers: Ronald D. Ross of Yuma, AZ and Mark L. (Jean) Ross of Russiaville; 12 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Phillip C. Ross and William C. “Bill” Ross.
