Joann E. (McCarty) Boldt 82, of Frankfort, died at 2:40 p.m. September 1, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis, IN. Born January 23, 1933 in Lafayette, IN to Robert & Ruth (Amstutz) McCarty. She married Harry B. Boldt on June 30, 1956 in Frankfort and he preceded her in death on July 2, 2006. Joann was a 1952 graduate of “Little Jeff” High School in Jefferson, IN and was a lifelong Frankfort resident. She was a homemaker as well as a cook for Clinton Prairie Schools for 14 years, retiring in 1992. Joann’s memberships include; St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Altar & Rosary Society, St. Mary’s Ladies of Charity, Women of the Moose, A.I.M. Home Ec. Club and the Chat & Chew Retirement Club.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be Monday, September 7, 2015 from 2-6 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rosary beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 8th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 600 St. Mary's Ave, Frankfort. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or St. Vincent Hospice.
Survived by:
3 Daughters: Ruth Boldt of Zionsville, Susan Richey of Cape Coral, FL, Barbara (Mike) Conner of Frankfort, 1 Son: Bernie (Monica) Boldt of Zionsville, 2 Sisters: Marilyn (Bob) Price of Frankfort, Jane (Mike) Woolfington of Plymouth, 9 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Preceded by:
by a brother, Bill McCarty.
Some great memories under Mrs. B’s watch – will always remember her smile – my condolences.
