Jo Ann Salas 68, of rural Frankfort, died at 5 p.m. July 27, 2011 at her home. Born November 22, 1942 in Jackson, TN tot he late Billy Richard & Myrtle Ann (Duncan) Lowe. She was formerly married to Paul Thompson. She then married Jose Salas and he survives. Mrs. Salas attended school in Tiptonville, TN. She retired from Perdue Turkey Farms in rural Thorntown.

Visitation and Services

Services are 3 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1 pm. until time of service. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.

Husband: Jose Salas of rural Frankfort Son: Jerry L. Davis of Lee’s Summit, MO Step-Daughter: Danielle Gregory of Frankfort 3 Sisters: Ruby Solomon of Tiptonville, TN, Dorothy Ashmore of Lafayette, TN and Georgie Williams of South Fulton, TN 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by her son, Tony Thompson in 2009 and 2 sisters, Glenda Sheets and Nellie Smith.

    I’m sorry to read of Jo Ann’s passing. In my childhood, I recall her as a compassionate and fun-loving lady. I’ll keep her family in my thoughts and prayers.
