Jessica Leeann Thornton, 26, of Marshall, Arkansas, died February 27, 2018.  She was born May 27, 1991 in Indianapolis, Ind. to Mark & Jody Thornton.

Jessica received her GED from Marshall High School and lived the majority of her life there since she was six years old.  She worked as a CNA, Care Plus Staffing, was manager of Heritage Place for 8 years and owned a concrete business.  Jessica loved hanging with her friends and loved to work.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, Ind. Memorial donations may be made to a charity to support crime victims.

Father: Mark (Carrie Niedlinger) Thornton of rural Frankfort, Mother: Jody Thornton of Oklahoma, Grandmother: Judy Baker of Frankfort, 4 Sisters: Angel (Bobby Robinson) Thornton of Frankfort, Amber Thornton of Oklahoma, Lacie Thornton of Oklahoma, Scarlett Thornton of Oklahoma, Kayleigh Thornton of Oklahoma, Nieces: Serena and Anastasia, Uncles: James (Kalinda Conaty) Menkedick, Richard Thornton, Rick Thornton, Brian Thornton, BJ (Danielle) Hare, LD Baker, Sam Baker Hulbert Baker, and Mike Allen, Aunts: Jill Thornton, and Brandi (Andy) Cooper, Cousins: Ayla, Anna, Paige, Alex, Tiffney, Izzy, Amy, Beth, Ayvah and Asher, Close Friends in Arkansas: Nellie Castleton, Janette, Jody and Rachelle.

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by her soul-mate, Clinton Castleton, paternal grandmother, Nancy Menkedick and paternal great-grandmother, Helen Cook.

    I love my niece Jessica Thornton very very much. She will always be missed, she had her whole life still ahead of her. Love you and always will miss you.
