I am so very sorry for the loss of Jeremiah. The first thought of him that pops into my mind is Jeremiah as a young boy. Don and Pat were so very proud of him, as well they should have been!!! May you find some comfort in knowing that all of his life, he knew he was deeply loved. What a glorious reunion it will be when we can all rejoice in heaven together!

Have to share a memory from the last time I played basketball against J. I rarely play now. He was still always playing…somewhere. It was the CP alumni game. I told him I was going to take a charge from him and totally flop. Got my chance, he drove and I was in the lane, ready to totally flop. I flopped when he was 2-3 ft away from me. Shawn Walker who was doing play by play for Mulberry Telecommunications even called me out on it.

My heart breaks for his parents and kids.

Steve, I am truly sorry for the loss of your son, I want you to know of the impact Jeremiah had on my son Aidan, he coached Aidan’s AAU team one year. Conda, my heart is breaking for you. A parent should never have to bury their child. It’s not ours to question why, but to realize God needed him for a reason and we may never know why until He calls us home. Our deepest and saddest condolences for your loss, our families loss. Here for you and sorry I can’t be there. Never hesitate if you need to talk. Love and prayers to all.

In times like this I find it difficult to say the right words and really I just want to express my condolences to you and your family Conda. I’m very sorry that I can’t make it there in person. I wanted you to know my heart goes out to you and Steve. JJ always had a smile on his face and nobody deserves to be in your shoes this weekend Conda. So sorry for your loss. So glad to hear he accepted Jesus as his savior and is in heaven now. I did not know him well, but we both worked in the resource room at Mayflower Mill Elementary School. His students loved him and he worked hard to build them up and equip them with skills they would need to succeed in life. Praying for your family during this difficult time.
