Jeffrey L. Hamilton, 78, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 6, 2021 at home. He was born August 18, 1943 in Clinton County to Francis Hamilton & Wilma (Hackerd) Hamilton Catron.
Jeffrey graduated from Frankfort High School in the class of 1961 and resided in Clinton County most of his life. He was a long-time employee of Eli Lilly in Lafayette, retiring in 2001. Jeffrey was a fan of the Purdue Boilermakers, L.A. Dodgers and the Indianapolis Colts. He was a member of the Jefferson Masonic Lodge.
Jeffrey has battled cancer for many years and his sister, Lisa, gave him all the excellent care and love he needed to be able to stay in his home until the end. All family members greatly appreciate all her sacrifices and devotion to him.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Survived by:
2 Brothers: Michael (Vicki) Hamilton of Kokomo, Kevin (Carol) Hamilton of Lafayette, and Sister: Lisa (Chris) Castle of Frankfort. He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews and 14 great-nieces and nephews. He was a very special uncle to Justin (Fanny) Rojas-Castle, Brian (Melanie) Castle, Lindsay (Chris) Castle Baire, Elizabeth (Tony) Castle Hobbs and Lesley (Josh) Hamilton Beck. He attended all their sporting events, birthday parties and was their “Disney Uncle”.
