Jearld “Jerry” Robert Palmer 54, Frankfort, died at 2:31 p.m. March 3, 2014 at his home. Born February 9, 1960 in Noblesville, IN to LeRoy F. & Ruby J. (Reed) Palmer. He was previously married to Dyanna Barnette. Jerry attended Frankfort High School before serving in the U.S. Navy for over 8 years. He had worked at Beard Industries for several years. Jerry was a member of the Frankfort American Legion. He enjoyed model building, wood working, fishing, football, basketball and tennis.

Visitation and Services

Family and friends may visit 5-7 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home with a memorial service at 7 p.m., Philip Jordan will officiate. Family burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park Garden of Honor. In memory of Jerry, memorials may be made to Goodwin Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.

Mother: Ruby Palmer of Frankfort, 3 Sons: Jerry P. (Brittany) Palmer of Frankfort, Ryan T. (Amanda) Palmer of Thorntown, Kearen R. “Robert” Palmer of Frankfort, Step-Son: Brandon Campbell of Frankfort, Step-Daughter: Desiree (Ray) Davis of Frankfort, Brother: LeAllen (Janet) Palmer of Georgia, 2 Sisters: Sheila (Terry) Harshbarger of Frankfort, Amanda (Tom) Dalton of Stockwell and 9 Grandchildren.

His father, and sister, Lenora Ansley.
