Janet Sue Boller, 77, of Colfax, Ind., died December 25, 2020 at Mulberry Health, Mulberry, Ind.  She was born October 25, 1943 in Indianapolis, Ind. to James W. & Bertha (Garrett) Likens.  She married Kenneth Boller on March 24, 1962 in Frankfort and he preceded her in death on August 28, 2005.

Janet was a 1961 graduate of Frankfort High School.  She worked at Emerson Electric/ Mallory’s for 35 years, retiring in 2005.  She was of the Christian Faith.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lafayette, Ind. Memorial donations may be made to Clinton County Cancer Fund. Out of respect for the health, safety, and comfort of all in attendance, guests will be expected to adhere to current CDC guidelines regarding appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks.

Survived by:

2 Daughters: Kelly (Donald) Akers of Colfax, Rachel (Robert) McGirt of Colfax, 3 Sons: Kenneth (Tina) Boller Jr. of Frankfort, Keith (Renee) Boller of Colfax, George Robert (Michelle) Boller of Monticello, 2 Sisters: Erma Kelly of Frankfort, Mary Birge of Frankfort, 14 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded by:

In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Joyce Likens and a brother-in-law, Jack Kelly.

    Janet was a neighbor to the Shelley family. For eighteen years I grew up and lived just a block away. My fondness of Janet developed when my mother (Charlotte) and I would visit her home for Avon sales calls. She was a loyal customer of my mother and a family friend. I will always fondly recall the many conversations in the Boller kitchen around the table all while Janet thumbed through the Avon catalog. The Shelley family extend their sincerest condolences.

    I’m so very sorry to hear of Janet’s passing. Such a kind and lovely person who raised such great people. My heart is with all of you. I have many great memories spending time with all of you. I will never forget Rachel’s wedding and all the pride Janet in making everyone feel so welcome and cared for. What a wonderful quality. Prayers and love to all.

    Dear Boller Family, Sending sympathy prayers for all at the loss of one so dear. I was blessed to raise Colfax kids with her & sit beside her many times at ballgames rooting them on at the park & CP. Her sweet smile & fun deposition were always there. My girls loved her too.
