Jane A. (Shoemaker) Miller, 67, of rural Frankfort, IN, died at 11:43p.m., March 2, 2013, Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. Born March 25, 1945 in Frankfort, IN to Harry & Elizabeth (WALTRIP) Shoemaker Sr. She married Michael D. Miller on December 22, 1967 at the Woodside Christian Church, Frankfort, IN and he survives. Jane, a lifelong Clinton County resident, graduated from Frankfort High School in 1963 and for over 20 years worked for the Clinton Prairie School Corporation in the Cafeteria. She is a member of the Manson Christian Church, enjoyed gardening, and especially enjoyed cooking for her grandchildren.

Visitation and Services

Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday March 5, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Services 10:30 a.m. Wednesday March 6, 2013 in Goodwin Chapel with Mark Sanders of the Manson Christian Church officiating. Burial to follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park. The family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Clinton County Cancer Association, 241 S. Broadway, Frankfort, IN 46041.

Husband -Michael D. Miller of Rural Frankfort, Twin Daughters- Stacy E. (Husband-Richard) Bjerke of San Diego, CA and Tracy M (Husband-Greg) Ross of Indianapolis, IN, Son-Steven M. Miller of Rural Frankfort, Brother-James (Wife-Margie) Shoemaker of Frankfort, 5 Grand Children- Jack & Hanna Ross, -Sam & Colin Bjerke and -Avery Miller

She was preceded in death by two Brothers-Robert Shoemaker and Harry Shoemaker Jr.

    Dear Mike & Family,
    Our thoughts &prayers are with you at this time. She was a “one of a kind” person. Always smiling & joking & so much fun to be around. Enjoyed seeing her at the class breakfast at Hoop’s when we were in town. We will truly miss her but what wonderful & loving memories we all share.     Jane was always so friendly to me. She always seemed to be in such a good mood and so happy. No matter where I saw her, at school or at Schultz Market (last time I saw her) she seemed so glad to see me and to talk a minute. So sorry for you loss Mike and family.     Dear Miller Family,
    Jane was such a blessing to our water class…Her smile & sense of humor were a bright spot in the water…The inside joke about being” Spider Sisters” was just another example of what fun she brought to us…she has been & will be sadly missed…We are so sorry for your loss…We also had a great time with Steve who blessed us with his own brand of fun and music for a while when he came to our class for foot re-hab…We appreciated him keeping us informed as we prayed in the water every time we met…Thanks for the memories, Jane…
