So sorry to here of Jan’s passing but know he isn’t suffering anymore. I am a cousin of Jan’s which he never saw much as I live in Naperville, Illinois. Went to visit Jan a few years ago and saw his train and railroad. He was so proud of his accomplishments building the railroad and surrounding areas. He will be missed by his train enthusiasts. Rest is peace Jan.

Facebook Twitter GoogleI am so sorry to hear of Jan’s passing. We worked together at Federal Mogul back in the day. I remember riding to lunch with him in his GTO Judge many times, he was quite a character, and is missed by all who got to know him.

Facebook Twitter GoogleI remember Jan when I used to work as a teenager for his father, Willis. Jan and Dennis were just kids then. I really liked working for Willis. He was a good guy. I send out my prayers for the family for God’s comfort and peace in this time of loss.

Facebook Twitter GoogleI remember Jan from the time he was an infant. I baby sat him and saw him take his first steps. Our family lived across the road. I can still see Jan on the swing set or playing with his toy trucks in the dirt. He was always such a great kid. It is hard for me to believe he has passed away. So sad he had to battle cancer. I pray he has moved on to a better place.

Facebook Twitter GoogleI am saddened by the loss of my cousin. I remember working for Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Willis’ farm with my siblings as teenagers. I remember Jan teaching me how to ride a go-cart and how to build a cool fort out of tomato crates. I will always be grateful for my Aunt and Uncle allowing us to work on their farm. I feel blessed to call you my cousin, rest in peace.
