Died Thursday July 30, 2015 at 7:55 p.m. at Arnett IU Health in Lafayette, IN
Born January 23, 1931 in Somerset, KY to Buley J. & Dora (Emberton) Bartley
Jim attended Michigantown High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Korea.
He retired from Chrysler Transmission Plant in Kokomo, where he worked for over 33 years. He was a member of the Frankfort VFW. He enjoyed fishing and antiques.
Visitation and Services
Friends may visit from 1 p.m to 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow the visiting at 3 P.M. Thursday. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Frankfort VFW

John (Kim) Bartley of Frankfort, IN, Greg (Janet) Bartley of Frankfort, IN. Sisters: Betty Reger of Michigantown, IN. and Linda Schimmel of rural Frankfort, IN. 12 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Raymond Bartley and a sister Freedela Reed.
