James N. Thompson, 90, of Frankfort, died February 9, 2024 at I.U. Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, Ind.  He was born June 2, 1933 in Michigantown, Ind. to Lorin Waldo & Roxie Blanche (Weaver) Thompson.  He married Mary N. Edmonds on January 1, 1955 and she preceded him death in February 1982.  His companion of 38 years, Maribelle Toney Cole, preceded him in death on October 13, 2020.

 

A memorial visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. with a memorial service held at 11 a.m., Friday, April, 5, 2024 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort.  In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Moose Lodge #7, 2880 E. Wabash, Frankfort, IN  46041.
