Linda and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Jack was a great guy and you made him so very happy. His mother and my mother were best friends and graduated from Colfax High School together. I spent many nights playing euchre until dawn with Mae, my mother and others at Mae’s. Jack use to carry me on his shoulders. I’m sorry I didn’t know of his passing until today. You and Jack came to Morocco for my mother’s 80th birthday. He stopped by several times when up here for business to say hi. A gentle, kind, person. Prayers and hugs

My sincere sorrow in finding this today. I am Jack’s first cousin and we shared a few summers in Colfax as children. I remember watching movies outdoors shown on the back of the library. Our lives crossed paths only a few times in adulthood. I have seen him and Linda six or seven times in Colfax on my visits to see my family on alternate years. The last time I saw him was in 2015. It quite a surprise, though not entirely unexpected to learn of his death in this way.
