Jack L. Corrie, 84, of Demotte, Ind., passed away on December 14, 2023, surrounded by his family, at St. Mary Medical Center, Hobart, Ind.  He was born February 28, 1939 in Lawrenceville, Ill.  He married Katie Waldrop on March 25, 1961 in Flatrock, Ill., and she survives.

Jack retired after 20 years as a maintenance mechanic with Frito Lay in Frankfort, in 2003. He was an avid woodworker and was known for making fly rods.  Jack’s greatest joy was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation and Services

No services are planned. Those wishing to make a donation may do so with United Way of Clinton County, 1234 Rossville Ave., Frankfort, IN 46041.

Wife: Katie Corrie of Demotte, Ind., Daughter: Terri (Mike) Guevera of Demotte, Ind., Son: Todd (Susan) Corrie of Frankfort, Ind., 8 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren

Preceded by:

a daughter, Tammy.
