Ima D. (Norfleet) Stringer, 76, of Frankfort, died April 29, 2018 at I.U. Health Frankfort Hospital. She was born in Faubush, Pulaski County, Kentucky to the late Arnold & Ella (Roberts) Norfleet. She was married to Donald Stringer for almost 60 years, and he survives.
Ima loved bluegrass music and attending Bean Blossom Festivals. She found much happiness in life with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, garage sale bargains and was loved by all who knew her. For several years, her home was opened to family members for the Thanksgiving Feast. Ima was a wonderful cook.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.

Somerset, KY, Janice (Tom) White of Greentown, IN, Margaret Blanton of Florence, KY, 3 Grandchildren: Angela (Larry) Gibson of rural Frankfort, Ind., Todd (Nicki) Stringer of Coatesville, PA, Kyle Stringer of Attica, Ind. 4 Great Grandchildren: Jasmine, Makayle, Anden and Talia, born January 14th, whom she never met, and a host of many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Norfleet and two sisters, Billie Davenport and Carolyn Stephens.
Glenn and I pray you are blessed with great memories to help sustain you during these difficult times. What we wouldn’t give to have one of her big piece of pork tenderloin gravy & biscuit! She will be sorely missed!
