    Think:
of stepping on shore and finding it heaven,
of touching a hand and finding it God’s,

    and finding it home.

To all kids who are now grown, your mother and I met when we worked at the Indiana Brass Company and became very good friends. I spent time at her house and watched how much she loved you kids and all the fun that you had. I lived around the corner and a few houses down on Kyger street. Ike would come to my door in her pj’s and housecoat and tell me come on lets go have coffee and away we would go in her car to her house. we had a lot of memories and good times. also a lot of laughs. A friend sent me the notice in the paper and she is so beautiful and will be missed. I now live in Colorado but would visit with her when we were in Indiana.

Sandra – I’m very sorry for your loss. I worked with Ike at Federal Mogul for maybe 4 months during my college years. We had a blast together. She’s one of the greatest people I’ve ever met. And although I lost touch with her over the years, I’ve thought of her often. And I know she adored you, Sandra. She talked about you all the time. I hope you are doing well. She will be missed.
