Howard H. Spears

Howard H. Spears passed away unexpectedly in his home on Saturday, September 3, 2011.  He was born May 16, 1953 in Frankfort, IN to Hubert H. & Alta I. (Coop) Spears.  He had previously worked at Mann’s Turkey Farm and the Elks Club in Frankfort and for National Homes and Wabash National Corp in Lafayette.  He was a lifelong Frankfort resident and attended Frankfort schools.  He enjoyed cooking and was a caregiver for his parents.  He attended Victory Chapel Church in Frankfort.

Visitation and Services

Services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the Goodwin Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Sister:  Patricia A. Linscott of Frankfort 3 Brothers:  Paul (Judy) Spears of Frankfort,  Bill (Linda) Coop of Frankfort and  Robert Spears of Lafayette 1 Step Brother:  Roger (Judy) Linscott of Frankfort 1 Step Sister:  Belinda (Husband-Terry) Davis of Kansas 11 Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by Step Mother:  Emogene Randolph Spears, 3 Sisters and 2 Brothers.

    I have totally been swept away with Howard’s death. He was a good person. Totally cared for his family. My heart goes out to the family. So sorry to hear it. May God look over him and you all.
