Hella Lanman 73, of Frankfort, IN, died July 12, 2013 at St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born June 13, 1940 in Helmstedt, Germany to Wilhelm & Elisabeth (Werner) Vaut. She married Charles Lanman on April 23, 1960 in Helmstedt and he survives. While in Germany, she worked as a legal secretary. After her marriage and moving to Frankfort in 1964, she was a homemaker. She was of the Catholic Faith. Hella enjoyed and loved her family.
Visitation and Services
Friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Arborwood by Shoups, 100 Golf Preserve Lane, Frankfort. A Celebration of Life Service for Hella will begin at 8 p.m. Wednesday with her nephew, Patrick Lanman officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society or the St. Vincent Hospital Foundation. Entombment will take place in Bunnell Cemetery.
Survived by:
her husband, Charles Lanman of Frankfort, 2 daughters: Tina (Dan) Sheets of Frankfort and Jenny Lanman of San Francisco, CA, and 2 grandchildren, Ben & Claire Sheets.
Preceded by:
her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eugone.
Dear family of Hella:
I too am from Germany and got together with your loved one a long time ago. I thought she moved away or something. Also, Tina and my daughter Bridget went to school together. We were sad to read about Hella’s passing. She was a a sweet person and I bet you will miss her? She is with God! No more pain, no more worries….here are our sincere condolences for your loss.
