Helen Smith Jarrell 94, rural Frankfort, IN, died at 3:15 p.m. December 9, 2014 at Homewood Health Campus, Lebanon, IN. Born October 1, 1920 in Birdseye, IN to James Clifton & Anna Marie (Holzbog) Limp. She married George M. Smith and he preceded her in death in 1981. She then married Walter “Jack” Jarrell on March 19, 1988 in Zionsville and he preceded her in death on May 24, 2009. Helen was a 1939 graduate of Whiteland High School, then attended Sanderson Business School from 1939-1940. She lived in Zionsville from 1947-1988 before moving to Frankfort. She worked for Dr. Harvey Lovett, and then was treasurer and secretary for Zionsville School System, retiring in March 1988. Helen was a member of the New Hope Church, Frankfort and a longtime treasurer of Hutton Cemetery. Throughout her life, Helen has been dearly loved by family and friends.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2014 and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 13th at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to New Hope Church in Frankfort. Burial will be in Hutton Cemetery.

2 Sons: Larry W. Smith of Zionsville, Thomas M. Smith of Indianapolis, 2 Brothers: James (Mary Jane) Limp of Lebanon, Kenneth Limp of Lebanon, 2 Sisters-in Law: Betty Limp of Lebanon, Jeane Limp of Lebanon, 2 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
