Helen N. (Garman) Montgomery, 91 of Rossville, died September 5, 2012 at Clinton House Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born November 16, 1920 in Allen County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Roscoe & Eva (Tonkel) Garman. A longtime Clinton County resident, she was secretary for the superintendent of Rossville School System. She was a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star, and Retired Secretaries Association. Helen enjoyed painting ceramics and hosted many family gatherings. She married James Montgomery on November 16, 1940 and he preceded her in death on March 24, 2006.

Visitation and Services

Funeral service is Sunday, September 9th, at 2 p.m. with calling one hour prior, at Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort, Indiana. Burial will be in the Rossville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to: Alzheimer's Association Greater Indiana, 50 East 91st Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.

Survived by:

She is survived by sister-in-law, Margaret Foote, and a multitude of loving nephews and nieces, grandnephews/nieces, great-grandnephews/nieces and great-great-grandnephews/nieces and special friend Kathy Emens.

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by brother, R. Stanley Garman; sister-in-law, Helen Griswold Garman.
