Even though I only knew Harold for about 3 months out at Wesley Manor, I had the privilege of driving him to his medical appointments. He and I had some great conversations while he waited to see the doctor. On several occasions he would ask me if I would take him outside so he could sit and enjoy the weather. Harold will be missed.

I remember many happy memories of holiday dinners at Uncle Harold’s and Aunt Mary Lou. I always joke still about being called “hammy” by Aunt Mary Lou because I only ate ham and not the turkey. My prayers are with my family Aunt Mary Lou, Cousin Lou Ann, my Dad Jack Bowerman and all family and friends. May God bring peace and comfort.

Harold was someone you could look up to. He was someone that would share knowledge and wisdom to anyone that wanted it. I’ve known Harold since I was a young kid. Lives change, circumstances change, the year changes, environments change, people change, but one thing that never changed was his love for his wife and for his God! I will miss Harold and so will many others.

I worked with Harold many times. We even stayed in the freight house together with a couple other guys. Harold always was a pretty cheerful guy. God bless his family may he rest in peace. May Jesus give him rest.
