Gordon was one of my favorite customers when I worked at the bank. My first time meeting him and helping him was when his wife passed away. It was heartbreaking and we cried together. Since then he would always wait for me to be able to help him. His first thanksgiving without his wife was coming up and he told me it was going to be tough and he was going to miss a pie she always made him. I looked up a recipe for this pie and I made him one and he came and got it from me. He cried and hugged me. I left when I was pregnant and due with my son and he got me a card and some chocolates. I really had hoped I’d get to see him out and about sometime but didn’t get the chance. My sympathies for all his family and friends. He was a very sweet man and will be missed by many.
