Facebook Twitter GoogleThe world is a nicer place because of people like Gloria. She touched so many lives. We will have fond memories of teaching, sharing luncheons, and worshipping together. She delighted in her visits from her nephews and always had a story about the family or her animals. Gloria will be missed but the love she gave will live on.

Facebook Twitter GoogleGloria was my first friend when I moved to Frankfort. She was a substitute teacher at Lincoln Elementary and I was a green around the gills rookie and I thought she was amazing! My feelings never changed. She was a wonderful friend, kind, generous, welcoming, adventurous, funny, a wonderful hostess, and loyal. She was hardworking, doing her best to see the project to completion. I am honored that I could call her my friend. She helped me manage my way through being the new kid in town, I am forever grateful.

Facebook Twitter GoogleHi Craig, I’m one of Gloria’s nephews on the Laverty side. I came to visit in July, from Dallas, and got to see the house and the great work being done on it. We met at least once a year on my travels and she enjoyed hosting my wife and kids. I was lucky to have had a very nice visit with Gloria in Zionsville. She was a wonderful Aunt and I have a number of Laverty items I’ll bring next Spring to Nancy Hart at the Historical Society. Thanks again for what you’ve done to the house, Oscar, Virginia, Jane, Bob and Gloria’s are all smiling today!
