Facebook Twitter GoogleMy name is John Hobaugh. I met Glenn at CCD class around 1949 at St Boniface Church in Lafayette. We saw each other every Sunday at church and CCD growing up. When we got older, I saw him a little during rural youth meetings too. After high school, our lives took us in different directions. Surprisingly, we ran into each other at a store in Frankfort around 1970s-80s range. I cant quite remember the exact year. It was a pleasant surprise to see him after all those years. We spent quite a bit of time catching each other up. I still remember that day. We would continue to run into each other from time to time at the stores and stop and talk. We would spend a good 30 minutes talking. It was never a quick hi and bye. We updated each other on our lives and families. I just saw him a few months ago at Walmart. We probably spent 20 min or so chatting. It was good to have stayed in contact with someone from my childhood. I will really miss those conversations with an old friend. I am so sorry for your loss, he will be greatly missed.

Facebook Twitter GoogleSo sorry to hear about Glenn’s passing. He was a fun and happy guy. Glenn gave me and my brother some horseradish plants 20 or more years ago. Mine eventually petered out, but my brother Kirk’s horseradish plants from Glenn are still going strong. – Rick Callahan
