It is always sad to lose a dear member of the family in death. It causes so much sorrow. It is my hope to share a comforting thought. In the Bible book of John 11:11,13,14, Jesus likens death to sleep. Thinking of our loved ones just sleeping is comforting. Further words of Jesus point to a happy future for our loved ones. He says at John 5:28,29: “Do not marvel at this for all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out….” Yes, there is true hope for an awakening from this sleep in a resurrection. May you find comfort and peace in this time of loss. We express our deepest sympathy.
