Facebook Twitter GoogleThinking of you all during this difficult time. We are all so glad we got to see him and spend some time with everyone at the wedding. He treated me just like one of his kids when I was around and reminded me very much of my own dad. We wish that we could be with you over the new few days, but know that you will be in good hands with the local friends and family. In loving memory of Grandpa Glen.

I share the sympathies and love of the Eastern Association Churches and Pastors of the United Church of Christ in Illinois as we keep you in prayer and support in these coming days. Our dear colleague, Susan, has often shared many warm and tender memories of her Dad, Glen, and we are saddened by his death. May God raise you up with strength and fill you with comfort as you tell those very special stories of how Glen’s life impacted so many.

Facebook Twitter GoogleVery sorry to learn of Glen’s death. I did not know Glen before this year, but spent a very enjoyable week-long fishing trip with him. He gave every indication of being a very fine man. Although I will not be able to attend either the visitation or the funeral, I did want to send my thoughts and prayers to each member of his family.

Facebook Twitter GoogleWe want to extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to Ruth and the whole Lock family. Glen was my coach and teacher in high school. Later in life we resumed our relationship and found out we had a lot of like beliefs. Glen was extremely well read and I learned a lot from him in numerous discussions on a myriad of topics. Glen was a good man will be missed for sure but never will be forgotten. Our prayers are with him and his family. God bless him and may he rest in peace.

Facebook Twitter GoogleCathy and I want to extend our deepest sympathies to Ruth and the family. I remember as a young agent starting in 1975 Glen came up to me in a meeting and said if you need anything or just want to talk my door is always open. That meant so much to me to welcome me into the group and I always have remembered that and tried to pay it forward with other new agents. Our offices were pretty close to each other and Glen would stop into the office now and then and say hi and how are you doing, 40 years later Glen would still stop and we would visit I will miss those visits. Glen was a good agent and good friend, he will be missed and never forgotten, our thoughts and prays go to Ruth and Family.

Facebook Twitter GoogleDear Ruth and children,
So very sorry to learn of your loss. I worked with Glen at State Farm on South Street a long long time ago. Glen was such a bright light in the office and I enjoyed working with him. We moved away but whenever we were in Lafayette, we stopped in to visit with Glen at his new office. You have many wonderful memories and these will carry you through this difficult time. He loved all of you very much and spoke often of you.
Sincerely, Bonnie and Ed Calhoun
