Gilbert Franklin ‘Si’ Spray, 87, of Frankfort died at 8:15 a.m. Friday March 10, 2017 at his home.  Born May 1, 1929 in Clinton County, Ind. to Thomas & Frieda (Sharp) Spray.  He married Edna May Conner on June 11, 1949 in Tabernacle Methodist Church in Frankfort, IN and she survives.

Si was a 1947 graduate of Kirklin High School.  He retired after 34 years working at the ADM Soy Bean Plant.  He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. He enjoyed bowling and especially spending time with his family.

Memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.  Envelopes available at the funeral home.  

Visitation and Services

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday March 16, 2017 at the Goodwin Funeral Home with Alan Downing officiating.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 15, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.

Survived by:

Surviving family includes his 3 Daughters:  Jean (Bob) Mohr of rural Frankfort, Judy (Joe) Sheets of Frankfort, & Sarah (Carter) McKeithan of Lafayette;  Brother:  Thomas ‘Tom’ (Vicki) Spray Jr. of Kempton;  6 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.  

Preceded by:

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Henry Spray and a sister Belva Barnett.
