Geneva Jane Shipley 83, Frankfort, IN, passed away 4:30 AM, Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital. Born August 12, 1925 in Clinton County, IN to Lewis Elmer & Hazel Ann (Carter) Hutchison. She married Leonard F. Shipley on May 25, 1950 in the Mulberry (IN) Methodist Church Parsonage. Mr. Shipley preceded her in death on July 24, 1978.Geneva worked as an Inspector at the former Unilectric Company in Frankfort until the closing of the plant in 1984. She was a long time Clinton County resident and a member of the Mulberry High School graduating class of 1943. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church.

Visitation and Services

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Goodwin Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 12:30 PM until the time of services on Friday. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Fund.

1 Sister: Gayle Graham of Zionsville, IN
Several Nieces and Nephews survive.

Preceded by:

4 Brothers and 3 Sisters preceded her in death.
