Facebook Twitter GoogleI am very sorry to hear about the passing of Gary (GC is what I called him). GC and I worked together for several years at Lake Erie…we had a lot of laughs and of course, a lot of conversations about growing up in Frankfort. I loved hearing GC’s stories about his childhood and how Frankfort “use to be”! He spoke often of his parents, siblings, children, grandchildren, and of course the love of his life… Jeannie! GC was also a family friend to my mother Mary Lou, my brother John and his family. John’s children as you know thought of GC as a “Grandpa” and they will miss him dearly. GC will be missed by so many friends…I’m pretty sure he didn’t know a stranger. As his family, you can have pride knowing he was a outstanding human being in my eyes. I will miss you GC…rest in peace my friend! Prayers to the entire Conklin family.
