Fred Lee Platt, 81, of Frankfort, died April 3, 2020 at his home. He was born May 24, 1938 in Frankfort, Ind to Thelma (Howe) Platt. He married Delores Greeno and she preceded him in death.
Fred worked at Archers Daniels Midland Company and A.E. Staley Company for a total of 44 years, retiring on May 1, 2004. He was a member of the Ambassadair Travel Club, Moose Lodge and Elks Lodge in Frankfort. He enjoyed remote control airplanes and he flew them with a local club by the Frankfort lagoons.

Visitation and Services
Private family services will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Due to the current circumstances facing our nation, this service will be live streamed on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Please check back for the link. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.

Son: Brian Platt of Frankfort, 3 Granddaughters: Brittany, Lacy and Kierstan. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Platt.
