Eunice M. Kreisher 90, of Frankfort, died Saturday, September 23, 2017 at I.U. Health Frankfort Hospital.  Born May 7, 1927 in Frankfort, Ind., to Herman & Lena Beatrice (Culbertson) Johnson.  She married Everett G. Kreisher on June 30, 1951 in Frankfort and he preceded her in death on July 17, 1989.

Eunice was a 1945 graduate of Frankfort High School and was a lifelong Frankfort resident.   She worked as a teller for The Farmers Bank.  Eunice was a lifelong member of the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir for many years.  She was also a member of the Psi Iota Xi Sorority.  Eunice was a loving, thoughtful and caring mother and grandmother, cherished by her entire family.

Visitation and Services

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home, with visiting beginning at 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church or Wesley Manor Good Samaritan Fund.

Daughter: Karla K. (Chip) Combs of Barrington, Ill., Brother: Carroll Johnson of Frankfort, 4 Grandchildren: Earle M. (Laura) Combs V, Matthew E. (Katie) Combs, Meagan A. Combs and Mallory (Jackson) Harter, all of Boulder, CO. and 2 Great Granddaughters: Ingrid Combs. and Elsie Combs

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

    I was so saddened to read about Eunice’s death. I have fond memories of her from my childhood and young adult time in Frankfort. I pray God’s comfort and peace to abound as you grieve your loss.
