So sorry for your loss. Maxine was a wonderful lady. She was so nice to us Marcum kids as we grew up in Boyleston. And it was nice to see her and Harold when they lived at Wesley Manor down the hall from Dan’s sister. And as she did remember me when she was on the 3rd floor occasionally. Such a lovely lady. We were blessed to know her.

She was “my Aunt” since I was 4 years old. I have many special memories through the years. When I was a teenager, we even exchanged clothes with one another UNTIL I outgrew her! She always welcomed our visits with a hug or kiss and would follow us to the door or driveway and wave as long as possible. She always thanked me for helping her. I loved her and will miss her smiling face. May God grant her the peace and comfort she richly deserves.

Maxine was a wonderful kind lady always glad to see you. She always had a smile. I grew up around her as a cousin glad to know her. Remember her singing in church especially The Old Rugged Cross! Our granddaughter Izzy started driving with her car. She called it Maxine. When I told Izzy she passed away. She said oh my she was the nicest lady. We will miss her! May she rest in peace.
