Facebook Twitter GoogleMy Aunt Lou…I spent many, many nights at her and my Uncle John’s house back the lane. It was my favorite place to go. I played in the old barn with Chris & Tony (John). Aunt Lou treated me like her little princess and always made me feel that way. A lot of cute clothes and bubble baths, soft warm pillows and cushy blankets. I was fascinated how she could make flowers & ribbons speak to your heart. As I got older I watched her for hours when I came. She didn’t run me off, she sat me next to her and gave me a pile of stuff and taught me her magic.
She wasn’t afraid to tell me if she thought I was wrong….or just plain stupid. She took charge of things. But she always made me feel special. My son was slow to walk stayed with her a few days, when I came to get him…he ran to the door! He grew to love her too.
What a wonderful pair her & my Uncle John were, They inspired and touched the lives of many of us, I loved Them both. My middle name is Lou after her and when she touched my life…she made it sparkle.
