Elizabeth (Kingery) Sheets Cohee 94, of rural Frankfort, Ind., died at 6:30 a.m. September 6, 2016 at the home of her daughter. She was born April 27, 1922 in Warren Township, Clinton County, Ind., to the late Franklin Dewey & Mary Henrietta (Lipp) Kingery. Her first marriage was to Fred Bon Sheets on February 3, 1940 and he preceded her in death on February 19, 1991. She then married Harold Leon Cohee on July 18, 1998 and he preceded her in death on August 18, 2014.
Elizabeth was a 1939 graduate of Michigantown High School. She worked at Jewell Simon and in the Clinton County Treasurers office. She and her husband Fred had lived in the Beard area for over 50 years, where she was a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church. Elizabeth was also a member of the Home Economics Club, Beard Friendship Club and Beard O.E.S. and enjoyed sewing.
Visitation and Services
Service will be Friday, September 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kilmore Cemetery.

(Yaeko) Sheets of Victorville, CA, Daughter: Dena (Michael) Lukasik of Frankfort, 2 Step Sons: Carroll (Patricia) Cohee of Kempton, Martin Cohee of Zionsville, Step Daughter: Sherrill Carter of Longmont, CA, 3 Grandchildren: Nina (Michael) Poersch, Whitney (Richard) Vasquez and TJ (Courtney) Lukasik, 2 Step Grandchildren, Carissa Carter and Derrick Cohee, 4 Great Grandchildren: Michael, Jacob, Christa and Isaiah, 5 Step Great Grandchildren, Sera, Macey Ann, Anderson, Giselle and Olivia. 4 Great Great Grandchildren: Emilee, Carson Riley and Cayden

In addition to her parents and spouses, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Barbara, Kate and Frances, 2 brothers, Robert & Richard, grandson, James Neal Sheets and a step grandson, Cason Cohee.
Dena….sorry to hear the loss of your mother…we are never ready to let them go.
