Edward Ray Roberts, 56, of Frankfort, died April 15, 2023 at I.U. Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born May 21, 1966 in Frankfort, Ind. to Alvin Ray & Esther (Chandler) Roberts. He married Jodell Louise Richardson on June 30, 1990 and she survives.
Ed was a 1985 graduate of Frankfort High School and a life long Frankfort resident. He had worked at Smurfet Stone Container for 23 years until they closed and then worked for Welch’s Packaging. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #976. Ed enjoyed music, going to concerts with his children, watching baseball, especially the Chicago Cubs, watching various college sports and absolutely loved fishing. He also enjoyed NASCAR and was a huge fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr. and loved just spending time with his family.
Visitation and Services
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the Eagles Lodge, 408 N. Main St., Frankfort. Donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Fund. Clinton County Crematory and Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort is assisting the family.

Wife: Jodell Roberts of Frankfort, 4 Sons: Vincent (Katie) Roberts of Colfax, Dylan (Odyssey) Roberts of Frankfort, Ryan (Keeghan) Roberts of Frankfort, Eddie Roberts of Frankfort, Daughter: Kendra Roberts of Frankfort, Sister: Tina (Chuck) Harper of Frankfort, 2 Brothers: John Roberts of Rossville, Brett Roberts of Rossville, Brother-in-law: Jeff Richardson of Lebanon, 6 Grandchildren: Damien, Katelynn, Xander, Kitana, Jasper and Tessa, 10 Nieces and Nephews and 4 Great Nieces and Nephews as well as extended family.and friends.
