Edna Marie Davis 96, of Frankfort died at 4 a.m. November 11, 2014 at Clinton House Health and Rehabilitation Center in Frankfort. She was born April 6, 1918 in Forest, Indiana to the late Eddie E. & Otta M. (Bradburn) Thomas. She married Russell W. Davis on September 17, 1935 and he preceded her in death on August 29, 1986.
Mrs. Davis attended school in Forest, lived in Kirklin and Lebanon prior to moving to Frankfort. She was a waitress and sales clerk, working at the Doghouse Restaurant and V & F Sales, retiring in 1983. Marie was a member of the Westpoint Christian Church, a lifetime member of the Kirklin Home Economics Club and Euchre Club.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Jill Carroll will officiate the services. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Boys & Girls Club. Online condolences may be made at goodwinfuneralhome.com.

4 Daughters: Charolette L. Henry of Frankfort, Mary J. Hollingsworth of Boone County, Barbara “Jane” (Jack) Evans of Lafayette and Pamela J. Burton of Frankfort 12 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth H. Davis in 2004, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
