I remember a sermon when Rick said we have it backwards, we should mourn when we are born and celebrate when we pass. I celebrate that Rick is sitting at the feet of our Savior and what an addition to the choir in Heaven! Prayers for comfort for you and your family Carol.

Rick came into our home and lives one evening in 1968 with a radiant young Carol Wagner who was living with us at the time. We were very impressed. He let us know right away his faith in God was and would be the core value in his life. It was clear he loved Carol and he treated her with care. We hoped he would stay around and he did. Rick took seriously his call to serve as a Christian minister and he fulfilled that call to over full with God’s Word and love. I’ve always thought Carol and Rick had a marriage made in heaven. I have loved and admired Rick ever since I first met him. Carol, Joy and sorrow are both gifts God created in us, I hope you find time to grieve. God bless you and your family and may God give you joy in the time to come until you hold Rick in heaven and see your Savior face to face. Judy
