Dorothy L. McCoy Russell, 93, of Michigantown, died December 3, 2017 at Wesley Manor. She was born December 16, 1923 in Frankfort to Russell & Lena (Davis) McCoy. She married Raymond G. Russell on April 13, 1941 and he preceded her in death in 2004.
Dorothy was a homemaker and was a lifelong resident of Clinton County. She was a member of the Michigantown Christian Church and Order of Eastern Star of Hillisburg, now the Clinton Chapter O.E.S. Dorothy was a professional seamstress, enjoyed crafts, and crocheting. She especially loved her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation and Services
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 8, at 10:30 a.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Sam Guilliams, minister, will officiate. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, Dec. 7, from 4-7 p.m. An Order of Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. following visitation. Burial will be in Whiteman Cemetery, Michigantown. Memorial donations may be made to the Michigantown Christian Church.

2 Daughters: Karen (Frankie) Pilley of Michigantown, and Phyllis (Doug) Ridenour of Michigantown, 7 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
Preceded by:
Dorothy is preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Russell Roll, 2 granddaughters, Lora Edwards and Denise Roll Turk, 3 brothers, Bill, Dale and Ronald McCoy and 4 sisters, Helen Edwards, Leona Lamm, Nettie Russell and Bonnie Alexander.
