Donnie Gene Cox 73, of Frankfort, Indiana, died at 9:45 a.m. August 25, 2014 at his home, following an extended illness. Born May 22, 1941 in Frankfort to the late Virgil Doyle & Florence (Hammack) Cox. He married Wanita Floyd on July 16, 1960 in Frankfort and she survives. Mr. Cox attended Kempton Schools and was a lifelong Clinton County resident. A long haul truck driver, he worked for Reed & Son, Shaffer and Kennedy Trucking in Louisiana. He worked for 30 years, retiring in 2003. Donnie enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing country music and especially loved his children and grandchildren.
Visitation and Services
A memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the family of Mr. Cox.

(companion CJ Ford) Cox of Frankfort, 3 Daughters: Wilma Gene (Wesley) Winter of Frankfort, Trisha (Steve) Smith of Frankfort, Frances (Jason) Hall of Frankfort, 4 Brothers: Larry G. Cox of Frankfort, Junior (Diane) Cox of Vero Beach, FL, Jimmy M. (June) Cox of Colfax, Toby Cox of Washington, Sister: Sharon Bowen of St. Louis, MO, 17 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.
