Donald L. Goldsberry 81, of Rural Frankfort, Indiana, passed Away Friday, August 21, 2009 at the Clarion Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN. Born February 8, 1928 in Boone County, IN, to Oris Foree & Leona Blanche (Bean) Goldsberry. He married Joan Thompson on September 30, 1953 in North Vernon, IN and she survives. Mr. Goldsberry was the Manager of the Manson Grain Company for 22 years. He also worked in maintenance for the former Peter Paul and later Zachary Confections in Frankfort. He was a lifelong Clinton County resident and a 1946 graduate of Colfax High School. He served his country as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean War from 1950-1952. He was a member of the V.F.W. in Frankfort.
Visitation and Services
Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the Goodwin Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 4-8 PM, Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Frankfort. Memorial donations may be made to the Manson Church, envelopes will be available.
