Donald David Grant, 79, of Martin, Tennessee, died October 15, 2020 at Diversicare of Martin.  He was born November 15, 1940 in Blysdale, MO to the late Kenneth R. & Vergie May (Grogan) Grant.  His first marriage was to Janet Avon Crawford.  He then married Roberta H. (Wiley) Landes on July 1, 1989 and she preceded him in death on May 9, 2019.

Donald received his BS degree in information systems, working for specialty restaurants.  He retired in 1999.  He had lived in Green Cove Springs, FL, Moreno Valley, CA and LaPalma CA.  He was of the Baptist faith.  Donald was a mariner and loved boats.

Visitation and Services

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Bunnell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Don's name may be made to Alzheimer’s Research.

2 Sons: Kenneth R. (Dennise) Grant of Dresden, TN and David C. Grant of Van Nuys, CA, 2 Stepsons: David Landes Jr. of NC and Robert Landes of CA, 2 Sisters: Carol Grant Plennings of Georgetown, TX and Gloria Grant Inciong of Kula, HI, 1 Brother: Gary Grant of Sandis, OH, 3 Grandchildren & 1 Step Grandchild.

    So sorry to hear this, Don was a great guy. I wish Roberta’s children had been notified of his passing, we would have come to the services.

    Ken, David and the Grant family. My deepest condolences on the loss of Don. It was tough watching Alzheimer’s take the Don I knew and cared for. I’m glad he is with Jesus and reunited with my mom.
