Donald C. Lough 92, of Frankfort, died at 6:58 a.m. August 28, 2013 at Wesley Manor. Born March 24, 1921 in Clinton County to Cheslie B. & Esther (Lane) Lough. He married Velma Elliott on August 22, 1948 and she preceded him in death on November 13, 2002. Mr. Lough was a 1939 graduate of Jackson High School and had lived in Jackson Township in Clinton County before moving to Frankfort in 1996. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served from September 17, 1942 to January 27, 1946 during WWII. He had worked at Winklers/Stewart Warner in Lebanon and Indiana Brass in Frankfort, retiring in September of 1985. A former member of Mechanicsburg Christian Church, he was also a member of Siloam Masonic Lodge #609, Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, Frankfort Moose Lodge #7 and American Legion Post 12.
Visitation and Services
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Fund.

Don was my “boss” back in the early 60’s when I was a Purdue student working summers at Stewart-Warner. I remember him as a kind, compassionate man who was always willing to listen to any problem and offer a friendly solution. He was a great person to work for. This world has lost a good man!
