Darrell and I were childhood friends as we were the same age and grew up together on Walnut St. I have many good memories of him and Dale, as well as his parents. Darrell was a great guy and will be missed by many. Thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

Sad to hear this news of Darrell. Darrell and my Brother Robert L. Cook (Bob), were good friends. Both worked in the meat Department at Payless Supermarket. Both became Managers, Bob was at Marsh in Lafayette. He passed away 12/16/16. They will have a lot to catch up on when they see each other. May each of You be Comforted in the Arms of God now & in the days to come.

Darrell’s family and mine were neighbors when my family lived on East Walnut. I will always think of Darrell as nice, fun and caring. I hadn’t seen him in quite a while so this was a bit of a shock. Thoughts and prayers will continue to all the family as you go through the next days. May God grant you ALL His Peace and Comfort. AMEN
