Connie E. Bunger

Connie E. Bunger, 67, of Bringhurst, died May 16, 2024 at I.U. Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, Ind.  She was born October 27, 1956 in Shelbyville, Ind. to Lloyd & Janet M. (Elkin) King Dyer.  She married Lee Bunger on August 10, 1985 and he survives.

Connie attended Frankfort High School and received her GED.  She had worked at Mayflower as a truckdriver, Peter Paul, Hardees, The Bargain Center, and Wesley Manor.  Connie enjoyed cookouts and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2024 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 25th at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Green Lawn Chapel of Peace Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to the Bringhurst United Methodist Church, 1468 S 10 W, Bringhurst, IN 46913.

Husband: Lee Bunger of Bringhurst, Daughter: Mandy (Shawn) Peterson of Kokomo, Sons: Robert P. (Becky) Tidd III of Flora, Jeremy K. Smith of Bringhurst, Sisters: Karen (Butch) Wadley of Greenfield, Betty Thurman of Edinburgh, Sandra (Johnny) Simpkins of Hawthorne, FL, 38 Grandchildren and 30 Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Carolyn Sue Duncan, Margaret Reed, half-sisters, Lois King, Catherine Jean Dyer, Helen Christine King, 3 brothers, Lloyd Dean King, Floyd James Dyer and Lloyd Wayne Dyer.
