Claude Vane Ziebarth , 62 of Lancaster, California, died April 20, 2016 in a vehicle accident along with his wife, Vickie Newman. He was born to the late Opal (Smith) and Charles Ziebarth.
Claude danced to the beat of a different drum. He had an infectious laugh and a booming voice, always doing it “My way”. He loved music, playing, teaching and writing. While performing on the street, Willie Nelson “stopped to listen, leaving him a “tip “. He experienced his 15 minutes of fame on You Tube, performing his original music. Claude loved the Beatles quoting John Lennon often. Claude was truly a rolling stone….. Loving life in California.
Claude served in the Marine Corps, during the Vietnam War. A staunch Donald Trump supporter…. He would say I’m on the Trump Train! Trump supporters think of “Z” when you strike your vote on Election Day.

Facebook Twitter GoogleI’m so sorry for your loss. I remember Claude from high school so well. I loved his carefree attitude and personality. I can still see him in his round wire frame glasses, large collar shirt, white belt and striped bell bottoms. Prayers of comfort to his family.

Facebook Twitter GoogleSo sorry for your loss. Didn’t know Claude, but I believe I went to school during seventh grade at Clinton Central Jr. High (1963) with Jane. My family are from Tennessee and we lived in Michigantown for one year. Jane Ziebarth and Eva Wyrick were my best friends.
Again, so sorry for your loss. Sounds like a great guy.
