Christy Kay Barnett, 66, of rural Frankfort, IN died at 2:33 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital 86th Street in Indianapolis after a brief illness. She was born on August 21, 1950 in Frankfort, daughter of Gordon Keith and Ada (Beechler) Kallner. She married Charles “Butch” Barnett on September 14, 1985 in Kirklin. They had over 31 years together.
She is a graduate of Greencastle High School. She worked for Polizzi & Associates in Zionsville for over 32 years, retiring in October 2016 as office manager. She was an excellent cook, devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother; her family being the most important part of her life. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Kirklin American Legion Auxiliary since 1978, the Clinton County Genealogy Society, and the Indiana Historical Society.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.
Visitation and Services
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Goodwin Funeral Home. Mary Jo Meek will officiate. Friends may visit from 9 a.m. until service time on Thursday. Burial will follow in Buntin Cemetery.

Surviving along with her Husband: Butch Barnett of rural Frankfort are her Sons: Eric Evans and Bruce (Crystal) Evans both of Frankfort; Daughter: Lesley (Jon) Webb of Frankfort; Step-daughters: Mandy (Kevin) Hildebrand of Fishers and Michell (Neil) Randolph of Lebanon; Grandchildren: Erica Evans, Alaina Evans, Kevin (Callie) Evans, Elisha Evans, Trent Evans, Nathan Webb and Hailey Webb; Step-Grandchildren: Ben Hildebrand, Sean Hildebrand, Olivia Randolph, and Jordan Randolph; Great Grandchildren: Jenny Evans, Gavin Mundell, Calvin Evans, and Caroline Evans; Brothers: Richard “Bud” Kallner of West Lafayette and Ken (Vicki) Kallner of Plainfield; Twin Sister: Connie (Ron) Fausset of Frankfort; Along with many nieces and nephews.
