Charlotte M. (Koons) Maish, 82, of Frankfort, died June 14, 2018 at Witham Hospital, Lebanon, Ind. She was born June 24, 1935 in Shickshinny, PA to Carl & Bertha (Grover) Koons. Her marriage of 58 years was to Gordon Maish on February 19, 1960.
Charlotte was a 1953 graduate of Shickshinny High School. She lived in Pennsylvania until 1953 prior to moving to Clinton County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was formerly a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church, where she was in the Hand Bell Choir. Charlotte was a homemaker and worked for Indiana Bell and Frankfort High School in the cafeteria. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, 50+ year member of Order of Eastern Star and Euchre Card Club. She loved fishing, camping, gardening, canning, and playing cards with friends.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. June 20th at the funeral home. Pastor Chuck Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, Kidney Foundation, Heart Association or Clinton County Cancer Fund.

Husband: Gordon Maish of Frankfort, Ind., 2 Daughters: Karla (Brandon) Schwartz of Frankfort, Ind. and Kimi Shirar of Frankfort, Ind., 1 Son: Doug Maish of West Lafayette, Ind., Grandchildren: Whitney, Chase, Luke, Kara, Amanda, Crystal, and Robert, and 7 Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Bernice Cicercia & Jane Pifer and son-in-law, Dennis Shirar.
